Chicken tikka fry is believed to have evolved from the popular dish “tikka,” which involves marinating chunks of meat in a flavorful mixture of spices and grilling or baking them. The addition of the term “fry” indicates a variation in which the marinated chicken is further cooked in a pan or deep-fried, resulting in a crispy and succulent texture.
